Corte del Medà

In the courtyard of the Venetian residence of the Balbi family is located the wine bar and small restaurant Corte del Medà.

A beautifully restored eighteenth century complex, where there was an ancient winery is now the enoteca, the ideal place to taste wine. The actual restaurant is located a few steps lower, under the ground level. The wine list has about 450 labels of wine from Champagne to Prosecco, scented and tasty white wine, full-bodied and intense reds accompanied by cheeses, cold cuts and delicious appetizers of the venetian tradition.

The room of the restaurant is illuminated during the day by a glass pyramid, while at night a soft light creates a background to the tasty dishes that come out from the kitchen: pasta and beans, dumplings, pasta with duck sauce, guinea fowl with peverada sauce, polenta and sopressa, tagliatelle with wild boar and duck sauce, pumpkin gnocchi and meringue with berries. As main course you can choose among beef, pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto, pork chops or veal. The desserts are homemade. Corte del Medà is the wine house of Pieve di Soligo that will make you fall in love with the food and wine of the DOCG hills.
