Riva dei Tor

The wine farm RIVA DEI TOR is located in the picturesque valley at the feet of Mount Cesen, characterized by hills which can be defined heroic for their gradients and logistics processing, suited for the production of Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano / Valdobbiadene.

Some writings of the past denoted, in the area where the company is located, the presence of medieval towers, from which derives the word TOR (tower). In our company Prosecco wine is produced in various types: SPARKLING EXTRA DRY. BRUT SPARKLING WINE, WINE fermented in the bottle (VIN COL FUND), fermented in the bottle WINE ROSE ‘

You can also taste a wide range of spirits and liqueurs, among which the Prosecco grappa and liqueur Cichet made with black cherry and raboso wine.

The grim slopes of our area only allow manual harvesting of the grapes, this turns out to be an added value to the quality of our products which are all characterized by a very large bouquet of scents and a structural component of the wine itself that differentiates our wine from other areas where the Glera grape variety is grown.

Sparkling wines of our company (Extradry, BRUT) are suitable for the whole meal, moderate alcohol content (11%).

Nowadays Prosecco wine is considered the Italian bubbles par excellence; in our company we do not forget past and tradition by which our ancestors began, since 1958, to produce this extraordinary wine. The VIN COL FUND is just an expression of this ancient tradition, it is a wine that, unlike the sparkling ones, where the second fermentation is done in autoclave, is fermented in the bottle. Perfume and acquiring structural aspects totally differ from the classics sparkling wines.

Our Grappa di Prosecco, is the result of a careful selection of the marc, very special in terms of perfumes, but always related to the vineyard of origin.

The liquor CICHET is an exclusive liqueur of our company, from the very bright red, cherry-based liquor and wine Raboso.

Riva del Tor also has the option of staying at Riva dei Tor Appartamenti where you will be welcomed with typical cicchetti accompanied with wines from the production of Tor Cottage Riva Riva dei Tor

The agriturism is open in the period between November and May (closed in summer).
