Riva Granda

Our vineyards are located in a hilly region, in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG production area.

The processing of our grapes is mostly manual, Riva Granda is a family-run wine farm since three generations and it takes its name from its size (5 hectares in a single plot), that is very rare in relation to the small sizes of the individual properties in the area of Valdobbiadene.

For our company, the growing of Prosecco grapes does not only mean to bring up the Glera vines and to transform them into a product but also to evoke and to pass on what the family and the land have left for us. Environmental sustainability and the recovery of the old varieties Perera, Bianchetta and Verdiso (in percentages allowed by the policy document) are very important for us because they grow in this particularly suitable area along with Glera, which gives to our wines a harmonious aroma, both traditional and innovative.

These are just some of the goals which we set out to achieve. In the wine cellar we follow each stage of winemaking without forgetting to maintain a balance between modernity and tradition: this is regarding both technology and goals we want to achieve.

A summary of all this are our wines: sparkling Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry, sparkling Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut and Riva Granda fermented in the Momi bottle.
